granola bar




Ingredients:


4 cups oats, uncooked
1 cup any chopped nuts (I used 1/3 cup chopped pecans, and 1/3 cup walnuts.)
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/3 cup light corn syrup (can be substitute with honey or maple syrup)
1/2 teaspoon salt
cooking oil spray

method:
1-Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, and mix well. Press into a 15 1/4-inch by 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan that has been sprayed with cooking oil. Bake at 450 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. (Mixture will be brown and bubbly.
2-cooked granola bars 10 minutes in this demonstration, but they were a little over-brown; 8 minutes would have been better.) Cool.
3-Cut into bars and serve on a serving plate or store in a sealed container for up to 2 weeks. They stay fresh for a very long time! These granola bars contain *only* healthy ingredients and are a great choice over a candy bar, which generally has no nutritional value! They taste great, also!

tiramisu part 2

part 1 i posted on oct 2010.this is another recipe for tiramisu that you could try.

ingredients:
lady finger
coffee powder dissolve in a 1/2 cup of water
250g mascarpone cheese
ground/chopped hazelnut
powder sugar
cocoa powder
4 eggs yolks
vanilla extract
whipping cream (whisk until fluffy)

method:
1-bring water to boil and place the eggs yolks into a bowl to simmer. add powder sugar into it.stir continuously until the eggs become a liquid and thick.
2-meanwhile in other bowl,whisk the cheese and pour the eggs mixture into the cheese.add the vanilla extract and the whipping cream.set a side.
3-dunk the lady finger into the coffee mixture and place in the prepare tin or serving glass(if you want to make a individuals portion)
4-pour the cheese mixture on top of the lady finger.repeat this method to the remaining lady finger and cheese that u have.
5-for decoration: - mix the hazelnut and cocoa powder together with powder sugar and dust on top of the tiramisu.store in a fridge for at least 2hours before serving to make sure it set.

easy chocolate mousse

this recipe very easy and suitable for you if you have guest during this weekend.wanted to make a special desert without having so much hassle.enj0y!


ingredient:
1 bowl of premium dark chocolate with at least 75 % cocoa
a glass of water
marshmallow (optional)
1 tbspn butter
chocolate chip (for decoration)

method:
1- heat the water together with the dark chocolate,marshmallow and the butter stir continuously until fully melted.
2-beat or whisk the melted and butter chocolate using electric whisk until this chocolate turns to be light and fluffy.
3-spoon any amount that you like into a serving glass.top with the chocolate chip as decoration.time to enj0y your dessert with family and loves one.

easy mashed potato

Ingredients 1 1/2 lbs potatoes, peeled and quartered length-wise 1/2 teaspoon salt 4 Tbsp heavy cream (optional) 2 Tbsp butter 1 Tbsp milk Salt and Pepper A potato masher Method 1 Put potatoes into a saucepan. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add water until potatoes are covered. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, 15-20 minutes, or until done - a fork can easily be poked through them. 2 Warm cream and melt butter, together, either in microwave or in a pan on the stove. Drain water from potatoes. Put hot potatoes into a bowl. Add cream and melted butter. Use potato masher to mash potatoes until well mashed. Use a strong spoon to beat further, adding milk to achieve the consistency you desire. (Do not over-beat or your potatoes will get gluey.) Salt and pepper to taste. happy trying peeps!

mee udang (resepi)






ingredient:
1 peket mee
300g udang besar
4 sudu cili kisar*
4 ulas bawang merah + 3 ulas bwg putih*
1 sudu udang kering*
1/2 inci halia*
1 sudu petis (blh ganti dengan belacan yg dibakar & dikisar lumat)
3 sudu sos tomato & 1 sudu sos cili
keledek/kentang yg direbus & lenyek (untuk pekatkan kuah)\
gula + garam
taugeh & sawi
daun bawang & bawang goreng

method:
1)rebus udang smp masak,tapis,kluakan udang.air rebusan jgn dibuang.

2)tumis cili yg sudah diblend dgn bhn bertand * smp garing.

3)masukkan air rebusan udang, biar kuah mendidih, masukkan sos tomato, sos cili & petis. reneh kuah.

4)masukkan garam & gula.kemudian masukkan keledek yg telah dilenyek.

note:biarkan kuah atas api..lebih lama direneh,lebih sedap

ingredient: (sayuran)
kobis
kacang panjang
carrot
tauhu
tempe
cili merah (untuk hiasan)
suhun & fu cuk
kentang

bhn blend:
5 biji cili merah+cili padi
5 ulas bwg merah + 2 ulas bwg putih
3 tangkai serai

bhn lain:
udang/ayam (ikut cita rasa masing2)
santan pekat 2 cawan

method:
1) panaskan minyak,tumis bahan blend sampai pecah minyak & wangi.

2)masuk sayur yg keras dahulu.jika guna ayam,goreng separuh masak kemudian racik isi dia..masak sekali dengan sayur yg keras sehingga empuk baru masukkan sayur yg lembut seperti fu cuk & suhun.reneh sehingga semua sayur lembut.

banana pot stickers

hi peeps,it quite a long time im not updating my blog with new recipe..rather busy with examination & assignment doing last minute :p my new year filled with lots of exciting agenda.my parents come over together with my lovely sis for her enrollment at Manchester uni. okay than, don't want to bubbling so much, i would like to share with u my new invention which i call banana pot stickers..haha

ingredient:
just roll pastry sheet
banana
dark chocolate
3tbspn butter
2tbspn sugar

method:
1) melt the butter together with dark chocolate until u get smooth & creamy chocolate mixture in a medium temperature or else u can melt it in microwave for about 2 minute.don't let the chocolate cooked for long period of time.it will ruined the chocolate texture.

2)mashed bananas with sugar.then pour 1 tbspn of mashed bananas onto the pastry sheet. drizzle melted chocolate onto the mashed bananas and cover with another pastry sheet.bake for about 2 minute or until the pastry turns to golden brown.
